starry starry night

astronomy picture of the day is set as my homepage, so every time i get online i'm greeted by the night sky in all its wonderful forms. some of the pictures are absolutely mindblowing. it's run by NASA and they give an explanation with each photo, which are always really interesting but still understandable for those with limited astronomical knowledge such as myself. i recommend you set it as your homepage too. or at least go and have a dig through their archives. some pictures from the past month:

i went to queensland with my mama bear to see family and stuff. it was fun; my cousin drove me around in a very old landrover, we bush bashed on their country property, i climbed trees and admired gorgeous little beach houses. the landie is an integral part of our family now, my grandfather has owned it for years and used to drive us down the beach in it.
